About the Opportunity:
Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Anaesthetics Department as a Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer at Bathurst Base Hospital. You will be working as a generalist anaesthetist, providing high-quality care to a diverse range of specialties, including both adult and pediatric patients.

Selection Criteria:

Eligibility for Registration: Must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist (or have overseas-trained specialist pathways).

Team Leadership: Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership.

Clinical Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Commitment to Teaching and Research: Demonstrated dedication to ongoing education, research, and quality improvement.

On-Call Availability: Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and respond promptly to on-site emergencies.

Fellowship: Must hold a relevant fellowship from the applicable College (e.g., ANZCA).
