Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Perform comprehensive dental exams and assessments for patients.

Develop and carry out individual treatment plans based on each patient’s needs.

Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.

Collaboration:

Work with Dental Assistants to provide four-handed dentistry (working together in the treatment of patients).

Educate patients on how to improve and maintain good oral health.

Technology and Compliance:

Use OpenDental software to manage patient information and records.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA (health privacy laws) to protect patient information.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through ongoing education.

Qualifications:

Degree Requirements:
-
You must have a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited school.

Licensing:

You need to have an active dental license in good standing for the state of Indiana.

Skills:

A strong understanding of general dentistry practices.

Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and the team.

Software Skills:

Experience with OpenDental software is helpful, but not required.
